Eat In / Eat Out = to eat at home / to eat at a restaurant

Eat Up = a command that means "finish all of your food"; usually used with children

Dig In = a command that means "start eating"; used in a friendly manner with family and friends

Pick At = to eat a small amount of food because you're not very hungry or you don't really like it

Pig Out = to eat a lot of food at once

Polish Off = to eat something until it is finished

Warm Up = to heat up your food so it's ready to eat

Whip Up = to prepare some food quickly

Snack On = to eat a small amount of food between meals

Live On = this is when you love a particular food so much, you could eat it all the time

Cut Down On = to eat less of something to improve your health

Thaw Out = take frozen food out of the freezer so it's ready to eat
